What it can and cannot check
It checks viewport settings, zoom restrictions, headings, image alternatives and dimensions, basic form labels, and small inline form text. It cannot prove responsive layout, touch-target size, network speed, or assistive-technology behavior; test those on real devices too.
What to test after the HTML check
Open the finished page at narrow mobile widths and test real navigation, forms, dialogs, keyboard focus, zoom, text wrapping, image loading, and tap targets. Pasted source can reveal useful markup signals, but only the rendered page shows how CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and third-party content behave together.
